Orientation

Orientation determines whether the scrollbar is laid horizontally or vertically.

Min and Max Arrows

These two checkboxes determine the presence of the corresponding arrow element in the scrollbar. Checking insures presence of the element. Clearing the checkbox removes the corresponding element.

Coarse and Fine

Tracker

These checkboxes determine the presence of the corresponding tracker element in the scrollbar. Checking insures presence of the element. Clearing the checkbox removes the corresponding element.

Split

These checkboxes when checked select Split-Type-tick divisions. Clearing selects Park-Type-tick divisions. See Ticks for more information.

Tick

The checkboxes determine the presence of the corresponding ticks. Checking insures presence, while clearing removes the corresponding ticks.

Central

The checkboxes determine where the corresponding ticks are supposed to be drawn. Checking locates the corresponding tick in the side of the track located at the center of the scrollbar. If there is only one track, it will be located in the side opposite that where the tracker would have been hinged if there were two tracks.

Also, checking either of these checkboxes draws a central line dividing the scrollbar along its orientation.

SyncTrackerSize

Checking this checkbox insures that the trackers will have the same length of the scrollbar. This length, furthermore, is the value given in the Tracker Size box.

FineTrackerNear

The checkbox determines where the finetracker shall be hinged. Checking this has the following effect: On a vertically oriented scrollbar, the finetracker shall be hinged on the left side of the scrollbar and the coarsetracker on the opposite side. On a horizontally oriented scrollbar, the finetracker shall be hinged at the top, and the coarsetracker at the bottom.

Clearing this checkbox reverses the locations.

Tracker Size

This is the suggested trackersize of the arrows and the trackers. This is used in the following manner.

The length of the arrows of the scrollbar shall be determined first. The remaining area will be used by the tracks. For the arrows, the length cannot be greater than the suggested trackersize. If the area is not sufficient to display full-length arrows, the area will be divided into two. Otherwise, it will be the same as the width.

For the trackers, the length of the tracker of the scrollbar will be determined in the following manner: If the synctrackersize has been set, the suggested trackersize is the length. Otherwise, the tracker will use the actual interval, plus some roundoffs.

Tick Interval

This is the minimum interval of the ticks in the units provided by the device context. The actual interval depends upon the tick divisions needed to be displayed.
