There is only one event that the scrollbar fires, and this event actually incapsulates all the different messages and information that are necessary to implement the scrollbar. There are six parameters of this event all four (4) bytes wide. The wParam contains the TrackLevel and Position characteristics of the current position of the scrollbar, while the rest come from what in former versions used to be the lParam structure to pass the primary message information.
